Frostail shares a similar appearance with Kyubi. While Kyubi’s fur is golden in color, Frostail’s fur is grey or silver across most of it’s body. The parts colored purple on Kyubi are dark indigo on Frostail.

“Frostail” is a contraction of frost tail, referring to the Yo-Kai’s ice-based powers. - Frostail’s Japanese name, Inugami, refers to the dog spirit with the same name. They are familiars conjured through a complex and cruel ritual in which a dog is turned into a vengeful spirit, that will follow its master’s orders to protect them, or even possess people and commit crimes. They are however very dangerous, as their rage is all-consuming and can potentially turn them against the conjurer who created them. Families protected by an inugami are called inugami-mochi, and will only marry their children to those of other inugami-mochi families.
