Yo-kai Medallium Bio: A punk Yo-kai who wears kabuki-style makeup. He dreams of rocking the socks and faces off his fans all across the globe.
Kapunki’s skin color is a pumpkin orange, and is wearing a yellow shirt with a teal belt. The color on its belt matches its sandals, and it seems to have a brown area on its chest to represent chest hair. Kapunki’s makeup is white, black and red, and the stick it holds and carries around on its back is a purple color.

- “Kabukizaru” is merely “Kabuki Monkey”. With the battle staff in hand, Kabukizaru, as well as Sushiyama, may have some basis with Sun Wukong, the Monkey King and one of the protagonists of the classic epic Journey to the West.
- “Kapunki” is a portmanteau of the words kabuki, a classical Japanese theatre dance in which its actors are portrayed in heavily applied makeup or face paint, and punk.
- “Kapunki” is also phonetically semi-similar to “Monkey”, once one removes the first two letters.
